Loved the charming room, but a mini-fridge would have been nice.

location away from main areas, unlimited filtered water, unique building with antiques
The access to the hotel is abysmal, requiring a muddy walk down an alley that can't accommodate vehicles!!! The view from my room was dismal, staring straight at a rusty corrugated roof. the inadequate water pressure needs attention!!!

Would be happy to recommend for a brief pit stop
Comfortable room, friendly staff, including a warm welcome drink on arrival, and a fantastic breakfast on the rooftop with specialty coffee options, all conveniently located just a short walk from the ferry terminal.
No negatives to report

i was generally impressed with the decor, but the owners’s cold demeanor definetly put a damper on my stay. also, good luck if you choose a room with an external bathroom because it’s a real trek. i almost wrote a glowing review, until i realized no one offered me complimentary drinks to ease the discomfort. i mean, come on!

The rooftop terrace was perfect for relaxing with a cold drink, and the breakfast coffee could easily compete with the best. Our room, though clean, had a bathroom a bit too far for late-night trips. Still a cool spot overall!

great stay with a few drawbacks
The staff were incredibly supportive. Richard stood out with great assistance during our stay. Breakfast had an amazing selection that delighted everyone, from fresh fruits to local delicacies that we couldn't get enough of. The hotel room was pristine, with a beautiful blend of traditional and modern decor, making it quite comfortable. having unlimited filtered water was a great touch that we appreciated throughout our stay.
The access to the hotel can be a bit challenging, including a walk down a muddy alley which can be uninviting.

missingWrote a review on Mar 31great breakfastsuperb coffeeuncomfortable beddirty bathroomnoisy environment
The decor and style of the house are commendable, and the coffee served is top-notch. Rooftop breakfast offers a delightful variety, including fresh croissants that add a special touch to the mornings. the room felt sparse, and the bed was uncomfortable, detracting from the experience. The bathroom was outdated and not properly cleaned given the nightly rate. Noise from the nearby alleys was also noticeable, adding to the overall discomfort.
